The Postgraduate Studies of the Department of Sustainable Agriculture, under the School of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Patras, will be organized and conducted in accordance with Law 4957/2022 and the applicable regulatory framework.
Currently, only a Doctoral Program is active. This programm is organized and operates in accordance with Greek Law as well as the Doctoral Program Regulations of the Department. The purpose of the Doctoral Program is to:
- Advance knowledge and promote high-quality, cutting-edge scientific research.
- Apply these principles to enhance scientific understanding in fields related to the Department of Sustainable Agriculture and its broader scientific domain.
- Educate and train researchers capable of contributing to scientific progress and fundamental research.
The Doctoral Program serves as a source of academic prestige and international recognition for both the Department of Sustainable Agriculture and the University of Patras. It plays a crucial role in enhancing both the quality and quantity of research output. Graduates of the program are expected to contribute to the research, business, and educational sectors in Greece and abroad.
