Industrial Plants

The main industrial plants, such as cotton, tobacco, sugar beet, soybean, sunflower, peanut, rapeseed, and wild artichoke, are included. For each plant, information is given on its classification, origin, description, biology, ecology, propagation, and cultivation care using classical and sustainable methods. Additionally, there is a comparison of the efficiency and economy of the two methods, as well as a discussion of problems and particularities. Information is also provided on collection and performance, uses of the plant in the agricultural industry, and its main enemies and diseases. The economic importance of each plant is also discussed.
