Ερευνητικά Ενδιαφέροντα

• Αξιολόγηση τοξικότητας επικίνδυνων ενώσεων και αναδυόμενων ρύπων, και διερεύνηση τρόπων αντιμετώπισης των περιβαλλοντικών τους επιπτώσεων.

• Διερεύνηση επιπτώσεων ρύπων σε οργανισμούς βιοδείκτες και σε ανθρώπινα κύτταρα.

• Έλεγχος ρύπανσης και αξιολόγηση δυνατότητας αποκατάστασης εδαφικών και υδάτινων οικοσυστημάτων με εφαρμογή φυσικοχημικών και βιολογικών συστημάτων ελέγχου και μεθοδολογιών.

• Μελέτη αντιοξειδωτικής και αντιγενοτοξικής δράσης ουσιών φυτικής προέλευσης και αξιοποίησή τους σε ένα εύρος εφαρμογών.
